Jaad Golden Retrievers

Youngsters are our "hopeful" pups that will one day pass their health clearances at the appropriate age.  The health clearances include:

​

1. Having their heart checked by a cardiologist once they are over the age of 1.

2. Their eyes checked annually by an ophthalmologist.

3. Hips and elbows x-rayed at 2 years of age, once they are finished growing.  These x-rays are reviewed by a panel of certified radiologists.

4. DNA testing for PRA-1, PRA-2, and Ichthyosis

 

If the pups pass all of these clearances we would then add them into our breeding program.  In the meantime, while these pups are growing, we enjoy every moment with them and they live as a part of our family.  We take them to obedience classes, conformation classes, field training, to conformation shows, to our friends homes, on walks, etc.  We especially enjoy all the snuggle time on the couch too!  Don't forget you can follow along with what we are doing with all of our dogs on Facebook.
